Sea Turtles
The most commonly seen sea turtle species in Bermuda is the Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) which grazes in seagrass beds. The Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) can be seen on coral reefs. The Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta caretta) is occasionally seen offshore.
